Formal Education:
1963-1967: Southern Methodist University. Awarded Degree in Bachelor of Business Administration, with a Major in Finance. Attended SMU on football athletic scholarship. Was a football letterman and played on the SMU 1967 Southwestern Athletic Conference Championship team that played in the 1967 Cotton Bowl. Member of Alpha Tau Omega (ATO) Fraternity.
1967-1971: Southern Methodist University. Awarded Juris Doctor Degree. Spent the law school year of 68-69 awaiting for and in military service for the United States Army.
